Lagos – The National Union of Air Transport Employees (NUATE) has commended Mr Saleh Dunoma, the Managing Director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), for his efforts at resolving the workers’ dispute in his organisation.
This is contained in a statement issued by Mr Yakubu dati, FAAN’s General Manager, Corporate Affairs, on Thursday in Lagos.
The statement said NUATE gave the commendation when the members of its Lagos State Council paid a courtesy visit to Dunoma.
It said the delegation was presented a copy of the communiqué jointly signed by FAAN management and the union on the disputed issues.
The statement said Dunoma, represented by the Director of Maintenance and Engineering, Mr Olufemi Ogunode, assured the workers that management would abide by the conditions stipulated in the agreement.
Also speaking, Mr Williams Ukah, First Deputy President, NUATE, commended the management of FAAN for responding to the demands of the workers.
