THE National Universities Commission (NUC), in a letter dated April 14, 2015, has accredited the 13 academic programmes initially approved, Adeleke University for in Ede, Osun State.
In a phone conversation, the deputy vice chancellor, Professor Ibikunle Tijani, confirmed the news that all stakeholders and students had long awaited after NUC visitation to the campus over three months ago.

In addition, the NUC recently granted the university the power to admit students to read engineering and law, with the programmes due for accreditation in four years’ time.
The accomplishment of the accreditation of all academic programmes approved four years ago when the university was issued a license, according to the Professor Tijani, is a great feat and the result of selfless financial support of the founder, Dr Adedeji Adeleke. (Nigerian Tribune)
