Daura – A former Minister of Environment, Alhaji Kabir Saidu, has described the death of Sen. Mustafah Bukar as saddening and irreplaceable.
Also, Katsina State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) said the deceased was a friend of the media and would be greatly missed for his patriotism and commitment to the Nigeria project.
The two were at the resident of the deceased on Thursday in Daura to condole with the family.
The NUJ delegation was led by the Chairman of the council, Buhari Mamman.
The former minister said death must continue to serve as lesson to all, and described Bukar as a humble, God fearing and meticulous person.
on his part, the NUJ chairman, said the demise of Bukar has created a wide gap which would be very difficult to fill, stressing that he was the first indigene to establish a private school in Daura and was spearheading effort to establish a federal polytechnic in the area.
“His relationship with the media has always been cordial, exceptional and educative; we have benefited immensely from his wise counsel and wisdom.”
Mamman prayed Allah to forgive Bukar’s shortcomings and grant him Aljannah firdaus.
Also, a former Military Administrator of Yobe, Alhaji Sani Ahmed, a retired Assistant Inspector General of Police, has condoled with the family and prayed for the peaceful repose of the deceased’s soul.
