The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Adamawa State has described the impeachment of ex-governor Murtala Nyako as a victory for democracy.
Speaking in Yola, the Secretary of the Adamawa State chapter of the party, Barrister Tahir Shehu, said the party should be commended for liberating the people from misrule.[eap_ad_2]
“We were able to emancipate the people of Adamawa State from bondage despite efforts by some detractors to stop us. Shame on those who said we could not do it. Adamawa has been underdeveloped. They have been siphoning from left, right and centre because they have no concern for the people”, he said. (Daily Trust)[eap_ad_3]
