Abuja (Sundiata Post) — The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), on Sunday, described former Head of State and President, Olusegun Matthew Aremu Okikiola Obasanjo, as “a leader and a President Nigerians will continue to remember for his unique style and quality of leadership”.
In a message to congratulate Obasanjo on the occasion of his 80th birthday, the Party noted that Obasanjo’s 80th birthday is not only a celebration of his sojourn on earth, but a combination of the series of his achievements and indelible legacies in various sectors of our political, economic and social lives in Nigeria and beyond.
The statement, which was signed by Dayo Adeyeye, for the PDP National Caretaker Committee, particularly recalled the ingenuity at which Obasanjo pioneered the affairs of the country on the platform of the Party from 1999 to 2007.

We salute you, Sir!
