ABUJA (Sundiata Post) – Nigerian billionaire and nightlife mogul, Obinna Iyiegbu, widely known as Obi Cubana, has broken his silence amid the controversy stirred by his adopted son, Chidi, who recently claimed to be the designated next-of-kin.

The drama sparked heated discussions online after Chidi’s assertion went viral, prompting a mix of backlash and support from social media users.

In what many saw as a subtle response, Cubana initially posted a photo of his biological son, Alex, on Instagram, seemingly clarifying where his true succession lies.

However, the businessman has now taken a more reconciliatory tone in a new update. Sharing photos from his recent 50th birthday celebration—which featured both his biological and adopted sons—he dropped a caption that appeared to address the saga more directly.

“We vibe, we bond, we cruise, they talk! Last last, all of us na next-of-kin,” he wrote.

The post is being interpreted as an attempt to calm the tension and publicly reaffirm his bond with all his children, regardless of the speculation.

Observers believe Obi Cubana’s latest message reflects a desire to move past the online drama, embracing unity and family above the noise.
