Abuja (Sundiata Post) – The Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), has revealed what he is challenging in the presidential election tribution.
According to him, he is challenging the INEC electoral process that led to the declaration of Tinubu as president-elect as well as the Declaration itself.
Obi, made the clarification via his verified Twitter handle @PeterObi following his response when he fielded questions while appearing on Arise TV programme today (Monday).
The tweet reads:
“Following my response to a question while appearing on Arise TV earlier today, I want to state categorically that at the Presidential Elections Tribunal (PET), I am challenging the INEC electoral process that led to the declaration of Tinubu as president-elect as well as the Declaration itself. -PO”
Sundiata Post recalls that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), declared Tinubu winner of the February 25, 2023 presidential election which has been adjudged the worst election that have been conducted in Nigeria. The electoral body has been alleged to have been highly compromised to the extent of sidelining its guidelines.
