Obi emerges Labour Party Presidential candidate

Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Dr Peter Obi on Monday emerged the presidential flag-bearer of the Labour Party (LP).

Sundiata Post recalls that the presidential aspirant, Professor Pat Utomi stepped down for his co-contender, Mr Peter Obi, for the ticket of the Labour Party ahead of the forthcoming general elections.

The political economist and management expert announced that he was stepping down for the former Anambra State governor on Monday at the party’s presidential primary in Asaba, Delta l capital.

Recall that Peter Obi withdrew from presidential contest in the Peoples Democratic Party last week and pitched tent with the Labour Party.
