ABUJA – The ‘Enfant terrible’ of the Nigeria politics, Senator Francis Arthur Nzeribe is dead.
The Oguta, Imo State-born maverick politician, was aged 83.
A reliable family source disclosed the death of Nzeribe to the media on Sunday morning on the condition of anonymity.
Senator Nzeribe would have been 84 in November 2022.
Ogbuagu, Oshiji, Damanze, as he was fondly called, would be remembered for his radical days in the Nigerian Senate and his role in the Association for Better Nigeria (ABN) movement under the regime of General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida.
