The State Security Service (SSS) this morning detained former Vice President of the World Bank, Mrs. Oby Ezekwesili, the main figure in the #BringBackOurGirls group putting pressure on the Nigerian government to effect the release of over 200 Chibok school girls abducted by Boko Haram in Borno State.

In a message she sent out on her twitter handle, Ezekwesili said she was on her way to London for a @BBCHARDtalk appearance billed for tomorrow. According to her, the SSS seized her passport at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport and has refused to give return her passport to her.
