Obulata Godson Chijindu, best known as OGC Maraji, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and performing artist. Born 26 May 2002, in Igbo-Etche Town, he hails from Etche Local Government Area of Rivers State, Nigeria.
The Port Harcourt-based artist whose stage name was derived from ‘Obulata Godson Chijindu’ his real name, using the acronym “OGC” as his stage name. OGC Maraji is known for his breakout single titled “Blessed Boy” featuring Nigerian singer and rapper, OdumoduBlvck. OGC said he is set to explore various music genres, in his quotes.
“I will seamlessly intertwine afropop sounds with modern afro fusion elements, resulting in a song that is refreshing to my fans”.
He said “I’m exploring and mastering various music genres, blending Afropop, Afrobeats, RnB, and hiphop genres in my tracks”.
In February, he dropped his debut single of the year “My Dear” and “Melodies Inna my soul”, a music project which passes a message of vibes, emotions, passion, the backdrop of his journey into music and how he pushes to advance his career.
