ABUJA (Press Release) – Following the announcement of the former Spokesperson of the Peter Obi Presidential Campaign Organisation in the 2023 election, Kenneth Okonkwo that he was leaving both the Labour Party and the Obidients, I as Chief Spokesman of the Campaign contacted our principal Obi for his reaction and he told me he was sad by the development because he sees Okonkwo as a junior brother who played his role diligently during our struggle.

Obi told me succinctly that Okonkwo cannot be called a mole in our family with the services he rendered and still renders in our struggle to create a new Nigeria that is possible.

When I asked Obi if I could make his views on Okonkwo public he said yes because the public needs to know that there is no personal misunderstanding between us and Okonkwo but only a disagreement based on style and approach to problems.

Signed
Yunusa Tanko
POMR Spokesman
