Ogwashi-Uku- Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Delta has pledged to empower youths and women and create opportunities for commerce to thrive in the state.
Okowa made the pledge on Friday at a rally in Ogwashi-Uku in Aniocha South Local Government Area of the state.
He said that PDP was sincere in promoting issues that fostered unity in the country, adding that only the government run by the party had delivered tangible development in the country and in the states.
He said that his administration would explore the potentials in agriculture and attract industries in order to create employment for the people.
“We tell the truth and PDP is the only party that is interested in the unity of the country and the unity of Delta.
“It is our duty to develop the state; we will develop Ukwuani, and I need your votes so that when I bring development to you, nobody will say why.
