Honourable Adetarami Olowolafe, popularly known as Mighty, embarked on a series of visits to all the units in Igbotako Ward 1 and Ward 2 ahead of the upcoming Ondo State governorship election on Saturday.
As the Special Assistant to the Ondo State Governor, Olowolafe engaged residents, particularly those in remote villages, to rally support for the governor.
The community members expressed their gratitude to the governor for appointing Olowolafe, highlighting his efforts in bridging the gap between the government and the grassroots.
For many residents, this visit marked the first time in years that a government official had reached out to them.
They praised the governor’s choice of Olowolafe, describing him as a beacon of hope for the less privileged.
The community pledged their full support for the governor in the forthcoming election and prayed for his success.
During the visit, residents appealed to the governor to grant Olowolafe a more prominent role, believing his humanitarian services would multiply with greater responsibilities.
They also raised specific community needs, including the installation of powered boreholes and solar lights in Korede and Dewinle camps.
In areas such as Akinfosile and Okedebi, the people lauded Olowolafe’s visit, reaffirming their commitment to the governor’s re-election campaign.
