Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege has commiserated with the Chairman, Senate on Media and Public Affairs, Senator Surajudeen Ajibola Bashiru over the demise of his mother-in-law, Mrs. Susanna Gladys Aso (née Osuedi).
In a condolence message to the Senate Spokesperson, Senator Omo-Agege said Mama Aso impacted many lives positively having served as a teacher and school principal.
He prayed God to give the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Special Adviser, Media and Publicity, to the Deputy President of the Senate, Yomi Odunuga, made available to Sundiata Post on Wednesday.
His words: “While mourning her exit, there is ample cause to remain thankful to God for her productive life, having served as a teacher and school principal for so many years thereby impacting many lives so positively.
“As you conclude preparations towards giving her a befitting farewell, my family and constituents join multitudes of other Nigerians in praying for her soul’s eternal repose and strength to enable the family carry on.
“May we all be blessed to impact the younger generation so positively the way Mama did through her chosen calling”.
