“Theatre is life, art is life because everybody is an actor, it is just that some of us are paid to do the job.
“In that regard, art is not really dead, what has happened is that people have concentrated their attention on the more glamorous areas which has also brought with it some extended problems and challenges of girls who now want to just make sure that their faces are shown and young boys who now want to make sure that their faces are shown on the screen and are ready to do just anything.
“Morality thrown to the wind and all kinds of immorality that are taking place because they just want to make sure that people see their faces.
“They believe that once their faces are seen, the sky is the beginning of the limit.’’[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″]

“NAN has attached so much importance to the entertainment and cultural industry and that was what led to the establishment of our entertainment desk.
“We have realised that the need for more news about our culture, about the glowing entertainment industry calls for greater media focus and that is what we are trying to do.
“The media has a basic and fundamental responsibility to promote culture because we cannot afford to neglect where we are coming from because a nation without a past has no future.
“And we will assist your association in all our own area possible to give better media exposure to your activities.
“All you need is to get us alerted on all your functions and we will do our best to give you the multi-media coverage that you will require.’’
