Awka – FC IfeanyiUbah of Nnewi on Sunday got back to winning ways when they battled to a 3-2 win against visiting El-Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the win was at the FC IfeanyiUbah International Stadium in a Week 14 game of the 2016/2017 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
Prince Aggreh opened scoring for the home side in the 19th minute, after utilising a rebound from a powerful shot by Godwin Obaje.
The visiting team continued to keep the Anambra Warriors’ attacking line of King Osanga, Seka Pascal and Obaje at bay until Aggreh struck again in the 29th minute.
