PORT-LOUIS – Thousands Mauritian football fans Thursday marched on streets of the capital Port-Louis at midday to celebrate the opening of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

PANA reported from Port-Louis that the fans carried balls, banners and national flags of participating countries during the march.

Also, musicians and female dancers performed the famous Brazilian samba for to two hours in celebration of the fiesta.
