Edo State governor, Adams Oshiomhole on Thursday announced the termination of the appointment of Mr Hillary Ekhoye as Executive Director, Public Procurement Agency.
A press statement made available to newsmen in Benin City by Peter Okhiria, press secretary to the governor said the termination of the aide appointment was announced by Prof. Julius Ihonvbere, secretary to the state governor.
Okhiria said the termination letter signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Julius Ihonvbere, dated Wednesday, September 24, 2014.
[eap_ad_2] He added that the termination, which took immediate effect was as a result of the aide’s poor performance.
Mr Ekhoye was directed to hand over any government property in his care to the Secretary, Edo State Public Procurement Agency.
Oshiomhole last month compulsorily retired a permanent secretary serving at the ministry of housing and urban development for alleged poor performance and other undisclosed offences.
