The Osun State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has expelled its former national secretary, Prof. Wale Oladipo, and Hon. Soji Adagunodo, a factional chairman of the party in the state.
The immediate past state chairman of the party, Alhaji Ganiyu OlaOluwa, and the secretary of the Soji Adagunodo’s faction, Hon. Bola Ajao were also expelled.
The faction of the party loyal to Senator Iyiola Omisore, with Dr. Bayo Faforiji as its chairman, said the actions were taken following their roles in the just rested leadership tussle between the Markai and Sheriff factions.
The state’s PDP chairman, Dr Bayo Faforiji, said in a statement on Thursday that the expelled members should are to return all PDP properties in their possession to the party Secretariat with immediate effect and urged the general public should never transact any business concerning PDP with them.
