Over 10,000 Drivers’ Licences ready for collection in FCT – Official

ABUJA – Mrs Susan Ajenge, the Sector Commander, Federal Safety Commission, (FRSC) in the , said than 10,000 Driver’s Licences were ready for collection.

Ajenge said this on during an with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja.

According her, some new applicants are reluctant pick licences because the temporary ones remain valid until the permanent licences are produced.[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″]

“A good number of applicants are usually interested in processing driver’s licence up the point of  collection of the Temporary Driver’s Licence, but are reluctant come and pick up the permanent licences.

“Our officers phone calls people come and pick licences while we also tell them come back if they don’t get our call in three months after data capturing.

than 10,000 licences are now waiting for collection in between FRSC headquarters in Zone 7 and VIO headquarters, Mabushi,” the sector commander said.

NAN reports FRSC and VIO designated offices in all states of the federation issue permanent licences to applicants after collecting the temporary ones. (NAN)
