The Chairman of the council, Mr Godwin Aigbodion, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Sabongida Ora that the projects were delivered between 2013 and 2014.
He did not, however, disclose the amount spent on the projects.
“I can tell you that my one year in office has been very eventful. I came in on April 22, 2013 and since that time I have been working very hard.
“And I can tell you that 51 projects have been completed between April 2013 and April 2014.
“Education is one of the priorities of Gov. Oshiomhole, so we embarked on the construction of schools, provision of electricity, markets, health centres and water projects,’’ he said
Aigbodion said the council had constructed three blocks of classrooms in each of the 11 wards of the local government; three primary healthcare centres in Sabonginda Ora, and installed 300-KVA transformers in six communities to boost power supply.
