Abuja (Sudiata Post) – National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, John Odigie-Oyegun has hailed Uche Secondus on his election as the People’s Democratic Party’s National Chairman.
Oyegun who also congratulated newly-elected PDP National Official, reminded the PDP that assuming its role as a responsible opposition Party will help put the interest of the nation first.
He stated this on Tuesday in a statement he personally signed and made available to Sundiata Post.
According to Oyegun, “It is my hope that the newly-elected PDP National Chairman will use his experience garnered over the years to ensure that the PDP assumes its role as a responsible opposition Party in the country”.
The National Chairman, who expressed willingness to engage Uche Secondus robustly in an atmosphere devoid of rancour and acrimony, said this will often challenge you to balance partisan interests with overall national considerations.
Oyegun reminded that their working together will both elevate the language and temper of politics as well as providing the enabling environment for democracy to thrive in our country.
