Oyetola Orders Osun Council Chairmen, Others To Vacate Offices

Mr Adegboyega Oyetola, Osun State Governor, has directed all council chairmen and other political holders at Local Councils the state vacate offices, The PUNCH .

He made this known a by the Secretary the State , Prince Wole Oyebamiji, titled ‘Important public notice’ on Friday.

According the governor, the affected political holders were asked to leave because their tenure had expired.

The notice read, “The Governor the State Osun, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola has directed all political holders at the Local Councils to vacate their respective offices and hand the Administration their concerned Councils to the most Senior Local Government Personnel.

“This is pursuant to the expiration the tenure all political Office holders in all the Local Government, Area Councils and Administrative offices in Osun on Friday, 5th February, 2021.

“Governor Oyetola appreciates their individual contributions to the of the state and wishes them well in their future engagements.”
