Okemesi (Ekiti State) – The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mrs Winifred Oyo-Ita on Thursday visited the family of the late Permanent Secretary, Ayodele Folayan, where she described the deceased as loyal, diligent, disciplined and honest.
The News Agency of Nigeria(NAN) reports that Oyo-Ita spoke at Okemesi in Ekiti when she paid a condolence visit to the family of Folayan.
She expressed delight at the unity and sense of purpose exhibited by the children and family of the deceased, saying this was the product of good upbringing.
” I can see that all the children of the late Folayan had good upbringing, education and good lifestyle.
” I have known Mr Ayodele Folayan for a long time and with my experience with him, I discovered that he was loyal, diligent, disciplined and honest.
” He was a permanent secretary on Common Services under my supervision but I do not have to monitor him because he carried out his duties diligently and often advised me whenever I so much needed his assistance.
” Without mincing words, I could also see the same qualities within his children, brothers and sisters,” she said.
A younger sister of the deceased who responded on behalf of the family, Dr Kehinde Abiodun, thanked Oyo-Ita for her condolence visit.
The family also wished her a successful tenure in office. (NAN)
