ABUJA, – The police on Monday arraigned a 32-year-old panel beater, Ojo Bello, resident of Tudun Wada Village, Abuja, before an FCT Area Court Lugbe, on a two-count charge of breach of trust and cheating.

The prosecutor, Cpl. Anigbo Paul, told the court that one Hajiya OLabisi OLajimoke, reported the matter at Lugbe Police Station on Dec.6.
Paul said that the complainant claimed that she paid Bello the sum of N100, 000 to repair her car, a job she said the accused failed to do.
He also said that the action contravened Sections 312 and 322 of the Penal Code.
The accused pleaded not guilty to the charge and Senior Judge Gambo Garba, granted him bail in the sum of N40,000 and one surety in like sum.
He said the surety must reside within the court’s jurisdiction and adjourned the case till Jan. 14, 2015 for further hearing. (NAN)
