Lagos – Suwaibidu Galadima, a gold medallist at the 2015 International Paralympic Grandprix /9th Tunis International Championships has vowed to win two gold medals at the All Africa Games.
Galadima, a para-athlete who specialised in the 100m and 200m told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday that he would not disappoint the country at the continental event.
“I am not boasting, I went to Tunis and I won two gold medals in the 100m and 200m.
“This is also my target for the All Africa Games, I want to go to Congo to do my country proud. By the grace of God, I know I will excel,” he said.
The AAG is scheduled for Sept.4 to Sept.19 in Congo Brazzaville, and Para-athletics is among the 21 sports that Nigeria would jostle for medals.

He said that he would put in his experience and ensure that he kept on improving both at the continental and international rankings.
Galadima appealed to government to assist the disabled athletes, stressing that participating at international competitions would further improve their ranking.
“The government and National Sports Commission (NSC) have been trying for us, but they can still help us. Attending international competitions boosts our ranking,” he said. (NAN)
