ABUJA – The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has cancelled the Nov.1 ward congresses conducted in Lagos, Cross River and Oyo.

According to the statement fresh ward congresses would be conducted in the three states on Monday, Nov. 24.
Metuh also said that the party`s, NWC had reviewed the state of the party in Adamawa and Ebonyi.
He said that the party had rescinded the dissolution Executives Committees in Adamawa and Ebonyi.
The spokesman said that the party affirmed the suspension Adamawa Chairman of the party, Mr Joel Madaki, for one month.

He said that NWC had, therefore, recalled the earlier caretaker committees, set up for Adamawa and Ebonyi chapters.
Metuh said the Adamawa Deputy Chairman of the party, Alhaji Jingi Rufai, would act as its chairman, while Mr Fatai Ornah would serve as the Acting Secretary.
