PDP candidate in Osun promise to provide quality representation


OSOGBO – Mr Daisi Aina, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) senatorial candidate for Osun Central, has promised to provide quality representation if elected in the February polls.[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”8″]
He gave the promise on Monday when he commissioned a motorised borehole he donated to Jaleyemi [pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″]Community in Osogbo, the state capital.
He said the borehole was to ease the hardship faced by the people of the area as a result of water [pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″]scarcity.
“This borehole is not a means of influencing people to vote for me; it is to meet an urgent need of the [pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″]people of Jaleyemi area.
“As the candidate on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, I hope to follow the tradition of meeting the needs of the people of the senatorial district.
“It is my desire to make meaningful impact on the communities from Ifedayo to Orolu, Ifelodun to Osogbo local governments,’’ Aina said.
In his remark at the occasion, Mr Adejare Bello, the former Speaker of Osun Assembly, commended Aina for coming to the aid meeting of the people of his senatorial district.
He stressed the need for politicians to executive projects that would positively impact on the welfare of the people to enable them enjoy the dividends of democracy. (NAN)
