UYO – Mr Nya Ebito, a PDP governorship aspirant in Akwa Ibom, says he will focus on youth empowerment he wins the 2015 governorship election in the state.
Ebito, a retired Judge in Akwa Ibom Judiciary, made the promise on Wednesday in Uyo at a press briefing.
He also pledged to create wealth through industrialisation.
“My focus if elected governor of Akwa Ibom State will be to create wealth and employment opportunities through industrialisation. [eap_ad_2] “Youths will be our focus; we will establish robust youth programes for our young people,” he said, adding that he drew the inspiration to join the gubernatorial race from God and the support of his people.
Ebito said that as a member of House-2-House campaign organisation for President Goodluck Jonathan, he was sure of success in his aspiration to become the governor of the state.
He said that the House-2-House campaign organisation would mobilise support for both President Jonathan and himself.
