DUTSE – The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has solicited for the support of the Dutse Emirate Council to ensure its re-election in the 2015 general election.
Alhaji Adamu Muazu, the PDP National Chairman made the appeal when he visited the Emir of Dutse, Alhaji Muhammad Nuhu in his palace on Wednesday.
“I want to appeal to this emirate to see reason to support the PDP in Jigawa in the next election, because we are performing better.
“We want you to continue to pray for us, we also need your cooperation and support to perform more.
“I want the emir and his subjects to note that all PDP governors are performing well,” Muazu said.
The chairman added that most states ruled by the PDP had established their own state universities, adding that “these are all signs of performance”.
Muazu, therefore, urged the emir to see reasons and support in re-electing the party in the state.
The Emir, in his speech urged the PDP governors to assist in redefining the National Youth Service scheme to serve as skill acquisition scheme where graduates would learn to produce. (NAN)
