IBADAN – The newly-inaugurated executive members of the Peoples Democratic Party National Youth Frontiers (PNYF), Oyo State Chapter, on Tuesday pledged to work for the success of the party in the 2015 general elections.
Mr Micheal Adekunle, the State Coordinator of the group, said this after the inauguration of the members in Ibadan on Tuesday.
“We have embarked on a no-going back journey. We will mobilise and work assiduously for the success of the party in all elections.
“We also use this opportunity to pass a vote of confidence in the leadership of President Goodluck Jonathan, likewise the party’s leadership in the national and state levels,’’ he said.
Adekunle called on the party’s leaders in the state to ensure a level-playing ground for its aspirants in the primaries, adding that whoever emerged must be supported by others.
He also urged the leaders to monitor properly the ongoing voters’ registration and support it in the bid to mobilise for the party.
The state party Chairman, Alhaji Yinka Taiwo, urged them to always be good ambassadors of the party through their commitment and behaviours.
Taiwo, who was represented by Mr Aderemi Adelabu, the State Secretary, enjoined them to shun thuggery while working for the success of the party.
Similarly, Mr Akeem Oke, the State Youth Leader of the party, urged the team to work for the party’s success at all levels.(NAN)
