KIEV – The Ukrainian military said that heavy fighting broke out again early Friday at the airport of the eastern Ukrainian, the separatist stronghold of Donetsk. [pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″]
Roman Turovets, Ukrainian Military Spokesman, said that separatist fighters launched a fresh attack in [pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″]the morning, and even though the situation was pretty difficult, but it was put under control.
Meanwhile, the rebels said on Thursday that they had taken much of the airport’s terminal, and that the government troops that have been stubbornly defending it in recent months are holding no more than

The Ukraine’s Security Council debunked the claim and insisted that the airport was under government control.
Council Spokesman Andriy Lysenko said in Kiev that six soldiers were killed and 18 injured in fighting during the past 24 hours.
President Poroshenko promised to send reinforcements and praised the airport’s defenders for “achieving the impossible.
