LAGOS – A Partner at the First Consultant Hospital, Lagos, Dr Ladi Okubadejo, on Thursday appealed to the U.S. government to urgently send whatever medication is in its possession on Ebola virus to Nigeria.
Okubadejo, who made the appeal at a news conference in Ikeja, said this become necessary to save the life of his infected colleague, Dr A. S. Adadevoh and other Nigerian at risk of the disease.
The First Consultant Hospital was where the late Patrick Sawyer, the Liberian was diagnosed with the deadly Ebola disease.
Okubadejo said that Adadevoh, a Senior Consultant Physician and Endocrinologist, was one of those who diagnosed and was treating Sawyer of the ailment when he was first brought into First Consultant.[eap_ad_2]
