Pinnick makes Flying Eagles’ pledge

A joyous NFF Amaju Pinnick has pledged that will do everything to prepare U-20 National Team, Flying Eagles, adequately to challenge for FIFA U-20 New Zealand this summer.

Manu Garba’ delightful squad, laced with star performers from side that won a record fourth FIFA U-17 for Nigeria 2013, swept aside African challenge, winning a seventh continental title at the recently-concluded 19th African Youth Championship Senegal.

“We have on our hands a squad that is capable of winning the FIFA , and it is not a matter of boasting. These boys and their coaches are winners, and they can’t just see themselves doing anything less.

“I am aware the FIFA U-20 World Cup finals will take place in New Zealand this summer, so there is no time to waste. The NFF is determined that the preparation must start right , and that is what we are working towards,” Pinnick said in , hours after the Flying Eagles pipped host Senegal 1-0 to lift the trophy on Sunday.
