Jos- The Plateau Government on Friday condemned Thursday’s twin bomb blast near terminus market in the city of Jos.
The Commissioner for Information, Mr Abubakar Badu, condemned the act when he briefed the press in Jos.
Badu described the perpetrators as those who were eager at ensuring that the state did not enjoy any form of peaceful coexistence.
The commissioner advised residents of the city to be vigilant, adding that “security is everybody’s business’’.
“We want to call on the public to always be on the alert and vigilant so as to ensure that such unfortunate incident is averted in the future,’’ he said.
He also called on the residents of Jos to cooperate with the various security agencies to unravel those behind the evil act.
He assured that the state government would take care of the hospital bills of those who were injured and condoled with the families of those who lost their lives in the explosion. (NAN)
