Abuja (Sundiata Post) – The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja, has embarked on Civil Military Relationship aimed at winning the hearts and minds of those affected in the crisis that engulfed Mangu communities of Plateau State, which unfortunate incident began in April 2023.
The civil unrest in Mangu local government area of the State has claimed many lives including properties worth millions of Naira destroyed, recording a high number of internally displaced persons.
The COAS has earlier in the year visited Mangu and has warned trouble makers to quit or face the full wrath of the Military whom he has given orders to shoot at sight.
He also promised to rebuild communities destroyed during the face-off.
Matching words with actions, the Army Chief on Tuesday in Mangu commissioned projects for some returning communities, now that peace has returned to the troubled area. https://sundiatapost.com/goc-3-div-harps-on-military-training-to-combat-insurgency/
