Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Plateau North Senatorial candidate of the Labour Party, Barr. Gyang Zi has tasked his supporters to approach INEC offices in their various wards and LGAs to collect their Permanent Voters Card (PVC).
Zi said the only way his supporters will make a difference at the polls is when they are armed with their PVCs.
Zi stated this in Jos on Sunday during the inauguration of his campaign council ahead of the 2023 general elections.
“If you go to INEC offices, you will see a lot of PVCs uncollected. I want those who have collected their voters card to please do so because that is the only we will stop corrupt leaders from get to power”, Zi said.
When asked if he will win the 2023 Plateau South Senatorial election, he said the Obidient Movement is making greater impact for the enthronement of a transparent and a productive government that will make the contest easy for him to defeat his opponents.
“Who are the big names, who among my opponents’ are lawyers that understand the business of lawmaking like I do?” he queried.
He said the party have political structures from the wards to the state level in Plateau and is ready to take back power across the country.
“You can see for yourself that the Labour Party has taken Plateau State and my aspiration for Plateau North is settled. By the grace of God, what we need is people and you can see clearly that the people of Plateau are here.
“With this development, I am seeing myself at the Red Chambers in the National Assembly in 2023″, affirmed.
Barr. Zi explained that in politics, the people are the most critical structure a candidate requires to win an election and said the Labour Party has the required structures to win elections at every level.
“From the mobilization and sensitization programme, we have structures all over, we have a lot of support groups. Labour Party has structures from ward to the national level and I can assure you that we are unbeatable by the grace of God.” he stated.
He said that the mobilization and sensitization meeting has placed the party on the path of victory on Plateau and Nigeria ahead of the 2023 election.
