Plateau legislator picks PDP form for second tenure

JOS – Mr Diket Plang, Chairman, Plateau House of Assembly Committee on Information,  on Thursday picked the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) nomination form to seek a second tenure in 2015  election.

Plang, who was accompanied by his supporters to the party secretariat in Jos, is to re-contest the Pankshin North seat.

He told newsmen after picking the form that he had learnt the rudiments of law making and quality representation and would not need to learn anything fresh.

“ I have developed politically and with the support of the people, I will deliver the dividends of democracy,’’ he said.

He promised to partner with the people, especially the youth, toward reducing poverty and unemployment.

He said unemployment was a time bomb that must be contained. (NAN)
