CAPE TOWN – Poland and South Africa have signed a veterinary health certificate agreement allowing one of the EU’s top poultry producers access to Africa’s most industrialised country for the first time, a Polish trade official said on Thursday.
The deal, under intense negotiation since 2013, will see Poland export poultry meat bone in, mechanically deboned meat, as well as offal to South Africa from June 20, said Andrzej Krezel, head of trade and investment at the Polish Embassy.(Reuters)
