Police, FRSC strengthen collaboration for public safety in Adamawa

YOLA (SUNDIATA POST)- The Nigeria Police and Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Adamawa have restated their commitment to strengthen collaboration for public safety.
This was made known during the courtesy visit by the newly deployed Adamawa Sector Commander of FRSC, Abdulmalik Bello, to the Commissioner of Police (CP), Morris Dankombo on Friday.
Bello said the visit aimed to strengthen inter-agency collaboration and foster closer ties in the areas of public safety, public order and improved service delivery to the people of Adamawa.
He reaffirmed the FRSC’s commitment to deepening inter-agency collaboration, and lauded the Police Command for its unwavering support toward promoting peace and security in the state.
In his remarks, the CP appreciated the FRSC’s sustained partnership and the Command’s readiness to maintain synergy in promoting safety of both travelers and residents across the state.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the Command also received a delegation from the International Human Rights Commission (IHRC), led by the Regional Coordinator North East, Mrs Mustapha Tukur.
Tukur expressed appreciation for the Command’s commitment to protecting the rights of citizens and upholding the dignity of persons.
The commissioner welcomed the delegation and assured the Command’s openness to collaboration in advancing human rights, accountability, and public trust in the policing system (NAN)
