YOLA- AIG Afolabi Babatola of Zone 3 Yola has assured newly deployed Zonal Controller of Nigeria Correctional Service (NCS) Zone Q Adamawa/Taraba, ACG David Igbago of his support to improve security in the state.
Babatola stated this on Tuesday in Yola, during familiarisation visit by Igbago, who is the Pioneer zonal controller of NCS.
According to him, the purpose of the visit is for familiarisation and to thanked the Police for the cordial working relationship with service.
Igbago also asked the AIG to put him through on some of the other activities that would lead to improved service delivery in the state and country at large.
In his remarks, Babatola welcomed Igbago and pleaded to offer him full support to enable him set up office for effective service.
He said that he had being in the atate since 2023 as Commissioner of Police, now AIG and the security situation has tremendously improved over the years.
“I am totally convinced that Adamawa’s situation is different now in terms of security as people are going about their businesses peacefully,” he said. (NAN)
