Police surround Afrika Shrine to prevent #EndSARS meeting

Operatives surrounded vicinity Afrika Shrine, where a meeting # protests was expected to hold today, November 17.

According to Punch Seun, one sons of Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, had earlier sent out flyers announcing a meeting lessons from # protests.

Some were also seen at the entrance of the venue of the botched meeting.

Many activists and # campaigners had indicated an interest in attending the meeting before the convener of the meeting, Seun Anikulapo Kuti, said the meeting had been suspended.

Earlier, the State Police Command warned that the meeting posed a security threat.

“You are hereby warned to suspend such gathering as any infraction that emerge from this gathering will be tagged a deliberate action to sabotage the transition and restoration of the in State by the and the ,” the letter read.
