A police officer attached to a branch of a popular bank (name withheld) in Oye-Ekiti, Ekiti State, has been shot dead in a robbery attack on Thursday.
A girl, believed to be about five years old, was also killed by the gunmen while on her way back from school, Premium Times reports.
The gunmen made away with money from the bank’s vault and stole from the customers.
