ILORIN – A chieftain of the PDP in Kwara, Sen. Makanjuola Ajadi, has advised losers in Saturday’s governorship and state House of Assembly elections to emulate President Goodluck Jonathan by accepting defeat in good faith.
Ajadi gave the advice on Saturday at Adio in lfelodun Local Government Area of the state.
According to him, the PDP is ready to ready to concede defeat if it loses the governorship election in the state.
“We expect to win but at the same time if we lose, we will congratulate the winner.
“We are going to emulate what President Jonathan did by conceding defeat to allow peace reign.
“If we lose, we are going to give glory to God and congratulate the winner and wish Kwara State all the best,’’ he said.[pro_ad_display_adzone id=”10″]
He described the governorship election in the state as peaceful but complained that the Smart Card Reader did not function well in some polling units in the state. (NAN)
