BAUCHI – President Goodluck Jonathan on Saturday commiserated with Gov. Isa Yuguda of Bauchi state, over the death of his mother, Hajiya Hauwa Yuguda.
Hauwa died on Wednesday after a protracted illness.
Jonathan, who was represented by Vice President Namadi Sambo, said in Bauchi that the condolence was on behalf of all Nigerians.
According to him, death is humanity’s final destination, adding that very person had his time of departure.

“What she needs more from us at this moment, is our prayers for God to grant her soul, eternal rest.
“May God equally grant the entire family, the fortitude to bear this loss,” he said.
Responding, Yuguda thanked Mr President for his show of concern at a time of grief.
He said his mother had been sick for the past 15 years, but God decided that this was her time to go.
Also in Bauchi to commiserate with Yuguda, were the governors of Gombe and Katsina states, Alhaji Ibrahim Dankwanbo and Alhaji Ibrahim Shema, as well as the President of Dangote Group of Companies, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, among others. (NAN)
