Tambuwal (Sokoto State) – Speaker Aminu Tambuwal on Saturday advised media organisations to report only the official results released by INEC after the conduct of the Presidential and National Assembly elections.
Tambuwal made the appeal while addressing newsmen after being accredited in Sokoto.
” We are confident that every single process (of the election) would be observed in peace and with calm.

“I belief that this election is special and very critical to every Nigerian.
” I am sure you are living witness to what has being happening. Its just by the grace of God that we are holding the election today because efforts were made to frustrate the process.”
The speaker called on Nigerians to defend the nation’s nascent democracy for peace, progress and unity.
He said that democracy had come to stay in Nigeria and all efforts should be made to promote peace for the over all political growth of the country.(NAN)
