LAGOS (Sundiata Post) – Those who came out to protest in Lagos are bent on making their grievances heard as they clashed with armed policemen on Thursday morning.

The nationwide protest officially kicked off on August 1, with Nigerians in different parts of the country taking to the streets to air their frustrations over the lingering hardship.

In Computer Village, Ikeja axis of Lagos State, a group of protesters had a minor scuffle with police officers who stood guard in the case of any eventuality.

Pics and videos shared by an X user named @simijourno capture the moment one of the young men participating in the demonstration insisted on being heard.

While being told to take it easy, the individual said, “I’m just expressing myself! Who are you?”, echoing the sentiments of others nearby.

The X user shared that the military had been brought in following the confrontation.
