recorded 861 cases from members of the public between January and December 2014.
The Director of Investigation of the commission, Alhaji Muhammad Abba, disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Kano.
Abba said out of the number, 361 were resolved, while the remaining 500 cases were pending.
‘’This represents 42 per cent of the cases resolved during the period under review,’’ he said.
He said most of the cases were reported toward the end of the year, which according to him, prevented the commission from resolving a number of complaints.
He said that most of the cases were on non payment of pension and gratuities, land issues and wrongful dismissal from service.
Abba said people wishing to forward their complaints could do so on issues that had to do with Federal or state governments, or private organisations.
He called on the people of the state to avail themselves of the commission’s services. (NAN).
