Wednesday warned fresh students of the institution against cult activities and violation of school rules and regulations.
Idogho gave the warning at the opening ceremony of the 2014/ 2015 orientation programme for fresh students of the school.
She said sanctions awaited any students who violated the rules and regulations of the institution, adding that the school authority would not hesitate to rusticate such students.
“For those of you who may think that this programme is a mere formality, I will like to inform you that there are sanctions for breaches of school rules and regulations.
“There are sanctions for cheating in examinations which may result to rustication or even expulsion.
“There is also sanction of voluntary withdrawal from the school of any student who fails to register or complete the registration process at the stipulated time,’’ she said.
Idogho said the institution frowned at cult activities or any illegal social group in the campus.
“We abhor cult activities in whatever form and you must shun improper dressing.
“We take exception to insubordination and we visit stiff penalties,’’ she said.
Earlier, the Dean of Student Affairs of the institution, Mr Mike Imaku, said the programme was aimed at inducting new students to the rules, regulations and conduct expected of them during their stay in the school.(NAN)
